He achieved a fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from GEM Hospital Coimbatore in 2012 followed by the fellowship program in Colorectal Surgery from The Association of Colon and Rectal Surgeons of India. He has been granted a fellowship and Gold Medal in Interventional Endoscopy from the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons. He has also joined various training Laparoscopy in 2008, Ethicon Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in 2011, and Ethicon Endo Hernia in 2013. Dr. Pinak Dasgupta is an active member of the Association of Colon and Rectal Surgeons of India, the Association of Surgeons of India, and the founding member of the Association of Surgical Gastroenterologists of Assam.
