Consultation

Our consultations include a full range of examinations from a simple prescription check to a full examination of your cornea, lens, retina etc. using precise equipment and skilled personnel. The consultation with the doctors extends to routine annual consultations and special consultations for laser eye surgery like LASIK. We even offer consultations for children, squint, glaucoma, retina, those intending to join airlines, the Navy, police, where the tests include color vision tests etc. Longer consultations are available for those patients who have specialized needs and require more time and our attention due to complicated visual problems. Such cases may be those needing vision therapy (amblyopia in children) and those needing Low Visual Aid support (retinal problems like age related to macular degeneration). Tests Once you are examined by your doctor, there may be some tests that are needed to either confirm a diagnosis or tests needed to be done prior to some surgery or procedure to get more data or information. Procedures

The range of procedures done at Radhakrishna Netralay extend from lasers required for post-cataract cases such as YAG Lasers and lasers for retinal problems such as bleeding in the retina where Argon lasers are needed. The need for any such procedure is diagnosed during a consultation with our doctors. Some procedures can be planned during the same visit itself.
