Built to Last - Heavy Duty Refrigerated Air Dryers from Deep Pneumatics Compressed air from air compressor has moisture content in it; which needs to be removed before the compressed air reaches the point of use, either in the system or pneumatic tools & instruments. Excess moisture content in the compressed air will harm the pneumatic equipment, quality & process costing, time & money. The function of removal of moisture from the compressed air is done by refrigerated air dryer. The saturated air from the compressor enters the pre cooler, where it is cooled by exchanging heat without going cold air. This process condenses some moisture out of compressed air. Then the incoming compressed air enters an air to refrigerated heat exchanger, where the air is cooled to around 38 degree Fahrenheit by liquid refrigerant.
