1. Represented India in the World Championship in 1989 at Jakarta( Indonesia).

2. Represented India in the Asian Badminton Championship in 1989 in Shanghai China.

3. Represented India at the Common Wealth Games in 1990 in Auckland.

4. Represented India for the Malaysia and Thailand Open in 1989 at Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.

5. Awarded the Late Gopinath Bordoloi Trophy as the best sportsperson in the year 1990 by sports journalists of Assam.
