Bharat Test House Family of Labs are ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001 certified organization, accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL) and recognized by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in the fields of Mechanical, Chemical, Micro-biological, Electrical, Electronics & IT Testing as well as for Calibrations.

Bharat Test House established in the year 2003 in Azadpur, Delhi catering to the products testing in Physical, Chemical & Mechanical Disciplines covering the products under Rubber, Plastic & Polymers, Automotive and Industrial Flexible Conductive Systems. Later based on the growing demand, the facility was added with Microbiological disciplines covering Packaged & Raw Food & Agro Products as per BIS, FSSAI and other related standards. Later this facility also added with the Testing of Domestic Pressure Cookers, Gas Stoves & Gas Water Heaters.

Under Chemical& Micro-Biological disciplines for Food & Agro products approved by FSSAI, it covers Iodized Salt, Spices (Ground & Whole), Oils & Fats, Milk & Dairy products, Ghee, Butter, Cereals, Pulses, Wheat/Fortified Atta, Maida/ Fortified Maida, Suji / Rava, Macaroni, Spaghetti, Vermicelli & Egg Noodles etc. Corn Flakes & Corn Flour, Custard Powder, Biscuits, Bread, Sugar Boiled Confectionery & Lozenges, Milk & Butter Toffee, Chewing Gum/Bubble Gum, Ready to Eat Protein-Rich items, Savories, Sweets, Chewing Tobacco, Catechu, Non-alcoholic Beverages.

Depending upon the expansion of clientele and new inquiries/ requirements from the growing customers in the various areas of testing, another wing of lab is located in the year 2007, Wazirpur Industrial Area, New Delhi. The test facilities are in the areas of Physical, Mechanical & Chemical Disciplines covering products like Cements, Building Materials, Rubber, Plastic & Polymers, Adhesives, Bitumen, Coal Fuels, Petroleum Products, Industrial & Fine Chemicals, Paints & Varnishes etc. Organic & Inorganic Chemicals, Textiles, Papers, Door Closers, Metals & Alloys, Petroleum Products, Pesticides, Minerals & Ores, Paints & Varnishes, Water & Effluents etc. Following are the product specific facilities:

Building Materials, the accredited test facility covers Cement (OPC Cement, PPC Cement Slag Cement, White Cement, RHP Cement, Clinker Composite Cement, Sulphate Resistance Cement), Clinkers, Admixtures, Cement concrete & Aggregates, Pozzolanic Materials/Fly Ash, Bitumen, Clays & Soils.

Metal & Alloys covers Iron, steel, ferrous alloys, Plain & Low Alloy steel, Stainless steel & High alloy Steel, Tool Steel, Cast Iron, Aluminum & its Alloys,

In the Fuels areas, it covers Coal, Coke & Solid Fuels.

WATER: Potable & Domestic Water for Drinking purpose, Water Used for Swimming Pool Purpose, Water for Construction Purpose.

Bharat Test House Pvt Ltd(BTHPL) was established in 2011, housed in 781, HSIIDC, Industrial Estate of Rai. It has a covered area of about 25,000 sq. ft and houses test facilities in various fields of Electrical Home Appliances/products, Consumer Electronics, Consumer Durable, Power Electronics etc. In the Electrical category, the products covered are Electric Water Heaters, Heating Elements, Switches & Sockets, MCBs, Microwaves Ovens, Electric Irons, Ceiling Fans, Table/Pedestal/ Wall Mounted Fans, Exhaust Fans, Induction Cookers/Tops, Rice Cookers, Room Heaters, Hot Air Fans, Single Phase Electric Motors, Luminaires (General Purpose / Street Lighting), Immersion Water Heaters, Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs), Tubular Fluorescent Lamps (TFLs), LEDs, Capacitors, Wires & Cables etc.

Bharat Test House has been a later addition to the BTHPL in 2013 as unit 2, under BTH Group, located at 1474, HSIIDC, Industrial Estate, Rai, independent of 781 BTHPL Lab. It has a covered area of about 45,000 sq. ft. It houses state-of-the-art test facilities in the high-tech areas like all products like all LED Lightings including Photometry ( LM 79 & LM 80), Electronics, IT, EMI/EMC, Solar PV, Rechargeable Batteries(portable applications), Power Electronics, Telecom & Wireless Devices, Medical Devices and Calibration for Mechanical, Electro-Technical, Optical and Thermal equipment/instruments.

It has been also added with the Testing of Tyres, Toys based on the latest regulations and Environmental Facilities to conduct various Ingress protection tests covering Dust, Water/moisture/Humidity, Vibrations, High/Low Temperature Tests as per IS 9000, QM 333, JSS 55555 & related standards.

BTHPL, has been newly established in 2017, housed in 1668, HSIIDC Industrial Estate, Rai, based on the compelling demand from the customers as well regulatory requirements of Govt. of India. As per the MAKE IN INDIA Policy of Govt. of India, the new and upcoming manufacturing clusters also require continuous support of testing Labs on Compliance as well to fulfil the requirements/policy guidelines of Govt. India. BTHPL has taken proactive decisions and created new test facilities in the areas of IT & Electronics, EMI/EMC, Solar Lighting Systems, Telecom & Wireless, Wi-Fi Applications, IOT,SAR, Photometry for Quality Testing of all LED Lightings and also as per the growing demands of manufacturers.
